The G.O.A.T.s of vegetation management are back and they’re kicking off the season with a free community Goat Yoga event near Rochester! 🐐

Join us Tuesday, June 9 at Greece Canal Park for an evening of fun, fresh air and four‑legged baaaa-st friends.

🐐 Activities start at 5 p.m.
🐐 45–60 min goat‑yoga session for all ages and all ability levels
🐐 Led by trained instructors; options for chair‑based participation
🐐 Meet the goats (and other adorable livestock!) before class

This event also highlights an important part of our stewardship work: using goat herds to safely clear poisonous, overgrown and hard‑to‑reach vegetation along the Canal. The goats are an eco‑friendly approach that reduces chemical use and helps maintain sensitive embankments.

Bring family and friends, plus a yoga mat (towel or blanket). Chairs and mobility devices are welcome. No yoga experience needed! Just a sense of humor and willingness to share space with eager munchers.

☀️ Rain or shine!

Accessibility: The lodge area offers marked accessible parking, paved access routes, standard accessible restrooms and a level grassy field for the yoga session. The nearby Canal Trail has a level, firm crushed‑stone surface if you want to see the working goat munch away.

See you on June 9 — let’s stretch with the G.O.A.T.s! 🐐✨
