These investments are bringing critical water and sewer upgrades to Herkimer and the Town of Webb that will support local businesses, improve infrastructure and help families thrive right here in Upstate New York.

I had the pleasure of attending the grand reopening of the Gloversville Senior Citizens Center !

Congratulations to Randy Smith for her incredible hard work and dedication in making this happen. It was wonderful to see Virginia Mackey there as well.

I was especially moved to see the REPP room named in honor of former Mayor Gene Reppenhagen — a fitting tribute to his service.

Thank you to Gloversville Mayor and City Council for their strong commitment to our communities. It’s great to see resources like this coming back to Upstate New York. Our seniors deserve nothing less.

Men’s Mental Health Week is an important reminder that it’s okay to talk about what you’re going through and to ask for help when you need it.

Too many men in our communities silently struggle with stress, anxiety or depression. Whether you’re a farmer, first responder, veteran or working hard to provide for your family, your mental health matters. Let’s break the stigma and support one another.

On Flag Day, we celebrate the Stars and Stripes and the enduring symbol of American freedom, sacrifice, and unity they have represented since 1777. As a proud American who has served our country, I’m honored to stand with the brave men and women who defend it every day, from our first responders and law enforcement to the patriots in our communities across Upstate New York. Let’s teach our children to respect and honor Old Glory, and remind ourselves of the liberties it represents. God Bless America and God Bless our flag. 🇺🇸

I’m proud to sponsor bill A10902 which will help the East Herkimer Volunteer Fire Department recruit more volunteers so they can answer the call whenever our communities need them.

The Salvation Army of Herkimer County held its 33rd Annual Civic Dinner, honoring Sylvia Rowan, Lou Christie and Shirley Pederson for their volunteer support. On behalf of the community I was glad to thank them with Assembly Certificates for helping others.

Thank you for your service to the community! It is my honor to serve your members ~

Members met today with Assemblyman Robert Smullen as he stopped by to follow up with his last visit to discuss the 45% membership rule that restricts how many members we can take from outside of our district. He delivered great news today that our exemption has passed and just waiting for one more signature! He also talked with us about the recent increase in tax credit for volunteer firefighters and other issues surrounding the fire service.
