Monday, June 1 is the next First Monday celebration at Little Star Pizza! It’s always a fun community gathering, and 10% of your order will support the Albany Education Foundation.

AEF raises money to provide grants for teachers and classrooms, so this is an easy and delicious way to support local students and educators. Hope to see you there!

Last week kindergarten students at Ocean View shared their new puppets with us. The fourth graders who went on a field trip to Angel Island were writing about their trip, so we heard about the interesting things they discovered.

AEF board members had a great time at Ocean View this morning. We learned about brain bins, and magna tiles, and the amazing work of the Leadership Team. All of these activities and items were purchased with AEF grant funds. These photos show more grants being enjoyed by students and teachers alike (and maybe a board member)

Supporting AEF is as simple as a night out at Little Star. Join us Monday, April 6, when 10% of all dine-in and takeout sales will be donated to the Albany Education Foundation. From pizza to salads, appetizers, and desserts, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

This give-back happens every first Monday of the month—an easy (and delicious) way to support grants for Albany teachers. We hope to see you there on April 6 and beyond!
