Innovation was on full display at the DCSS Innovative Teacher Summit! Educators and professionals from across Southwest Georgia came together for a day filled with collaboration, creativity, and forward-thinking strategies designed to inspire innovation in education.

A special thank you to our keynote speaker, Matt Miller, along with our incredible presenters, panelists, participants, and everyone who helped make this event a success. Your insight, passion, and dedication provided meaningful takeaways that will continue to impact classrooms and learning environments across our region. Together, we are moving education forward through innovation!

FREE Summer Meals are back for children 18 & under! The Dougherty County School System’s Seamless Summer Meal Program will provide breakfast and lunch at select school locations across the district from June 2–25, 2026. No registration or application is required. Help us make sure every child has access to nutritious meals all summer long!
