The Albertson Memorial Library is thrilled to present ‘Moving It’ at the Library tonight from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Munch on a walking taco meal while getting an up-close look at an impressive array of heavy machinery!

Hop on into the Albertson Memorial Library for Craft Night with Diane
on June 3rd at 6:30 p.m. where you will discover how to create your very own garden frog using a terra cotta pot.

Each attendee will have the opportunity to create one frog, regardless of the size chosen. Please be aware that spots for this project are limited. Additionally, this craft may only be available during the in-person gathering. Registration is required. You can register at the library or contact us by phone at 608-862-3491 or email us at [email protected] to have your name added to the list.

The Albertson Memorial Library is launching the 2026 Summer Library Program, themed “Unearth a Story,” with an exciting event presented by educators from the National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium.

Join us on June 2nd at 1 p.m. for an engaging one-hour program that explores the captivating world of dinosaurs and their connections to modern-day descendants. During this adventure, you'll have the opportunity to meet some live animals, enhancing your understanding of these remarkable, scaly creatures.

Please be advised that there will be no 10 a.m. Summer Library Program session or 6:30 p.m. family movie night on this day. Both programs will commence on June 9th.

The 2026 Summer Reading Challenge is open, to all ages, from June 1st to August 28th. Participants can earn prize entries by tracking their reading.

Sign up at the library and get a reading log. Read any material (audiobooks, eBooks, novels, etc.) to fill the log. Choose a prize for each completed log and return it for a new log (one log = one entry). Repeat until August 28th.

Winners will be notified after the drawing.

Join the merriment at the Albertson Memorial Library today at 4:00 pm for our Dungeons and Dragons campaign – “Shadows of the Infinite Staircase”.

Adventure awaits as you work for the Guildmaster to alleviate the burden the shadow has placed on the staircase.

Sessions will take place at 4 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month. Our June 13th session has been cancelled. Our next session will be held on June 27th.

Players are welcome to join at any point. If you missed creating a character at the 1st session, please reach out to us so we can plan for an early arrival.

This campaign is suitable for ages 15 and up.
