Today New York State Department of Motor Vehicles and The Governor's Traffic Safety Committee of New York teamed up with Albany Mayor Dr. Dorcey Applyrs, Daniel McCoy - Albany County Executive, Discover Albany, Empire State Development, New York State Office of General Services and Wolff's Biergarten to encourage soccer fans to enjoy watch parties responsibly. More than 30 percent of fatal crashes i n New York State involve impaired driving. Every one of those crashes is preventable. With rideshare and public transit options to get home safely, there’s no excuse to drive under the influence.
