In the midst of the 8th Annual session of CTB NY joining siblings separated in foster care from all over the state! These brothers and sisters brought together by the kindness of volunteers and the commitment of the staff and administration of Parsons Child and Family Center and YMCA’s Camp Chingachgook!

Why? Most youth who experience foster care are given two trash bags for their stuff when they enter the system. Sweet cases provides a duffel bag with a teddy bear, crayons, a warm blanket, a hygeine kit, and a coloring book.

Camp To Belong reunites 1000 siblings separated in foster care through week long summer camp programs across the U.S. Siblings are separated for weeks, months and sometimes years; camp allows them to be a family again. Help us preserve the memories they make at camp to take with them.

Tis the season! The Dave Thomas Foundation holiday special on CBS "A Home for the Holidays" showed a sibling set of 3 brothers and thier little sister. The youngest boy said, "we don't live together but we would like to". Camp is just a week together but it is sometimes more time than these siblings see each other all year long!
