Anybody wanting to be a lifeguard?

Albany Community Pool is pleased to offer an American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor Course.

Course will run March 13th 8am-5pm, March 15th 6pm-8:30pm, March 17th 6-8:30pm, and March 20th 8am-4:30pm.

The purpose of the American Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructor course is to train instructor candidates to teach the basic-level American Red Cross Lifeguarding course.

Prerequisites:
• 17 years of age on the last day of the instructor course.
• Possess a current basic-level certification in American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED.
• Successfully complete the online Introduction to the Lifeguarding Instructor Course prior to the precourse skills session.
• Obtained all instructor and participant materials before entering the first session of the instructor course.

There will be a link to materials once registered for the course.

Course fee is: $239.

Our troop will be helping collect ballots at the Linn County Courthouse tonight. Please meet there at 4:00 PM. This counts as a service project and a requirement towards merit badges.
