The 2026 Legislative Session has officially come to a close.
This year, New York pharmacists made their voices heard—and together, we achieved a historic victory with the passage of the Patient Access to Pharmacy Act (PAPA).
Thank you to every pharmacist, pharmacy team member, student pharmacist, and advocate who answered action alerts, attended meetings, shared your stories, and stood up for patient access to care.
This victory belongs to all of us.

The New York State Assembly has passed the Patient Access to Pharmacy Act (PAPA) by a unanimous vote of 133-0.
