SUNY Cortland officially cut the ribbon on Friday, March 27, celebrating the completion of a major renovation of Cornish and Van Hoesen Halls on the SUNY Cortland campus. The two‑and‑a‑half‑year, $27 million project included extensive interior and exterior renovations, expanding space and centralizing student services.
The project focused on Wing C of Cornish Van Hoesen Hall, upgrading facilities for the Communication and Media Studies Department and consolidating program spaces to support current campus needs. Renovations included new finishes, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, along with a new entrance addition featuring an elevator and stair tower to improve accessibility and connectivity to the Quad.
