New Visions Law and Government This college-level program for Capital Region HS seniors, which ran from 1996 through 2019, provided both college and AP credit.

It integrated AP US Gov't with English, Law, Economics, and internships New Visions Law & Government guarantees you fame, power and fabulous prizes. It will make your teeth whiter, your breath fresher, your skin clearer and your hair more bouncy. Students interested in current events, the electoral process and politics, government and public policy, or the world of law can explore related careers

in New Visions: Law & Government. New Visions Law and Government is a unique career-exploration program for talented and gifted high school seniors from more than 24 school districts throughout New York State’s Capital Region. It combines an integrated curriculum of Political Science, Law, English and Economics, with government and law-related internships. Students receive college, AP and high school credit and work with and shadow law and government professionals at places such as the Attorney General's office, the courts, the state Legislature and many different public and private interest advocacy organizations. Students' field experiences culminate in a week-long trip to Washington, D.C., where they meet with their state's senator and Congressional representative and attend sessions of the United States Supreme Court and Congress. Other DC experiences have included attending a White House Press Briefing, participating in radio and television programs, and a bike trip to Mount Vernon.
