Polls open 7am-9pm Tuesday, May 19. Time to vote! 🙌🏿
✅ Tomorrow, voters will head to the polls to approve school budgets, school boards, and, in Albany, library trustees and the library's budget!
I wanted to share a brief note as to why I’m supporting Serena White-Lake for Albany School Board and Kayli McTague for Albany Library Board Trustee in tomorrow’s election:
Serena White-Lake is an attorney, adjunct professor, and longtime community servant with an extensive legal and service background focused on improving outcomes for underserved youth. Serena is deeply committed to Albany’s children and to working to provide them with an excellent education and endless opportunities.
Kayli McTague is my Chief of Staff, a proud K-12 graduate of Albany Schools, and a government and political professional with extensive experience in Library & Education policy and funding. Kayli has a demonstrated track record of working to improve equity and opportunities for underrepresented New Yorkers, and she’s all in on the strength and sustainability of Albany and our libraries.
Both of these women are more than deserving of your vote tomorrow. Polls are open in Albany from 7am to 9pm, make sure to make a plan to vote!
