In 2010 Google turned off its search engine in China and redirected Google.cn to Google.hk. Why? Censorship by the Chinese government. A request to "filter" search results from Chinese citizens. Google at the time felt this behavior was not in alignment with it's objectives and goals. Fast forward 10 years to 2020. Google wants to help the U.S. government track, trace, and invade the privacy of every U.S. citizen using their cell phones. Maybe their goals and objectives have changed. Maybe they should go back to China and filter their search results. Google
