The County has increased FT Employees from 440 to 540 since 2017. They never reduce costs the way a for-profit business does. I will vote against Ordinances that increase costs to voters. The budgeting process usually starts with false assumptions that we must support current
spending levels and keep existing headcount. I will vote against using the “emergency clause” on every ordinance. That clause prohibits
voters from overturning unpopular decisions. I condemn the tactics of violence and destruction used by Black Lives Matter and Antifa. Linn County has 80 beds for immediate use. Law and order must prevail
