Rusty Duane Myers ran in the arms of Jesus, his maker and fellow carpenter @ 2:05 pm April 11 2023.

Rusty enjoyed his life beyond any mark that could be found on his favorite tape measure. He was incredibly goofy and loved to make people laugh. He was a fish whisperer, gear head, motorcycle riding, lift kit installing, arrowhead carving, bo**er pickin hell of a guy.
Most of all, a brother to all.. blood or not. If you couldn't find him @ home, he was @ mo-kan, part store or the riverbanks.

He was survived and loved everyday by his mom, Dorothy J Morrison and siblings Susie & Robert Coen (Carthage Mo)
Karen & James Graham (Alba Mo)
Jennifer & David (Alba Mo)
Megan & Alex (Carthage Mo)
Harley & Katrina (Oronogo Mo)
So many nephews & neices and their babies too.

He was proceeded in death by his mother & father Susan Elaine Ruppert
& Camden Keith Myers as well as his favorite Aunt Madalene.

Graveside Service will be on May 7th @ 2:00 pm. Purcell Friend Cemetery followed by @ Celebration of Life @ 401 Smith Alba Mo.

It's Carla bethel I'm not sure if you know but we have been collecting smoke alarms for people that have children that may need one or 2 for their home . On Kynzees birthday May 19Th we asked that people bring smoke alarms so we can donate them to people in need in Kynzee and Laynees name in hopes that the tragedy our family is enduring may not happen to another family . I was wondering if you or someone could post on the Alba page and ask if there are any families with children in the Alba neck city or Purcell area that need smoke alarms . We would love to donate to families in need of these . If the home my grand daughters were living in had had even one smoke alarm my grand daughters would still be with us . We want to do this in remeberance if Kynzee and Laynee . Please let me know or have them contact me we have I believe 6 smoke alarms right now but we have even had a few organizations that want to sponsor this in the girls names . If we can save one child's life and one family the devastating heartache we are enduring it would mean so much to this family thank you Treva

Hello,

We wanted to let you all know that we still have some food in our food pantry. It's not a lot, but should you know of someone in need or especially a senior that can't get out right now to buy their groceries, then please reach out to us. You can call the girls at the office or send a private message through Facebook.

Thank you,
Lindsay :-)

P.S. unfortunately we do not have any toilet paper 🤷‍♀️

Here are pictures of the city elves putting together our Christmas food baskets, and of Brotherhood of Bikers that helped with the donations. 20 families were very happy to receive these baskets for the holidays. Thank you to everyone who donated and helped with these food baskets .

We are also in the process of setting up a food pantry watch for additional information. Once again thank you. MERRY CHRISTMAS from the City of Alba.
