Guess what? As the Crockett County Ambulance Service is standing by for the football game at Cavalier Stadium tonight, we would like you to know that Dacey Ellington also passed her National Registry exam to become another one of our newest paramedics.

Her license posted this morning and the ink isn’t dry yet 👏. She has been with us for several years and is an incredible EMS provider!

Crockett, you are in good hands with Paramedics RJ and Dacey! Let’s celebrate!

CAREER DAY AT CROCKETT COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL

EMS is a career filled with purpose…for professionals with compassion…and a passion for helping others!

We are looking for the people who move toward the problem. The ones who stay calm while everyone else is shouting. The ones who want work that matters before the sun comes up.

This is not a career you sit through.
It is a career you show up for.

Every shift is different. You will hold a hand on the worst day of somebody's life. You will deliver a baby on a kitchen floor. You will make a save that a family talks about for forty years. You will learn things about yourself that no classroom can teach you.

And you can do all of it right here. In your own county. Taking care of your own neighbors.

We truly enjoyed being at the high school and talking with the students - they were respectful, kind, smart, and asked great questions! You all have bright futures!

Our EMS crews, dispatchers, law enforcement officers, rescue techs, emergency managers, first responders, corrections officers, firefighters, and so many others across public safety walk straight into chaos.

They see people on the worst day of their lives - and somehow they bring order. They promote healing. They calm the storm.

You can’t do this work and leave it or retire from it unchanged.

Our community is very proud of them, and we are grateful for the work they do.
