Today wraps up National EMS Week, and we want to close it out by shining a light on a group that doesn’t always get the recognition they deserve - the directors and leaders of EMS agencies across this country.

While our crews are on the front lines answering calls, EMS directors are working behind the scenes in ways most people never see. They’re managing budgets, navigating regulations, fighting for resources, advocating for their people, and making the hard calls that keep agencies running - often long after everyone else has gone home.

Leadership in EMS can be a lonely place, and yet they show up every single day because they believe in this mission just as much as the crew members pulling on their gloves.

To every EMS director, medical director, and agency leader out there - thank you. The work you do quietly and consistently makes everything else possible.

And to our own director, Will Huff - thank you for everything you pour into Crockett County Ambulance Service. Your crew sees it, even when it feels like no one does. Thank
you for cooking a delicious breakfast for our crews and first responders!
