Crockett County School Nutrition

The Crockett County School Nutrition Department is serving nutritious meals at breakfast and lunch, keeping our students healthy and ready to learn.

In accordance with Federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, the USDA, its Agencies, offices, and employees, and institutions participating in or administering USDA programs are prohibited from discriminating based on race, color, national origin, sex, disability, age, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity in any

program or activity conducted or funded by USDA. Persons with disabilities who require alternative means of communication for program information (e.g. Braille, large print, audiotape, American Sign Language, etc.), should contact the Agency (State or local) where they applied for benefits. Individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing or have speech disabilities may contact USDA through the Federal Relay Service at (800) 877-8339. Additionally, program information may be made available in languages other than English. To file a program complaint of discrimination, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, (AD-3027) found online at: http://www.ascr.usda.gov/complaint_filing_cust.html, and at any USDA office, or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form. THANK YOU students, families, administration, and community organizations for your support as we provided FREE nutritious and delicious meals to our students and kids in the community this summer ☀️😎🫶

Don’t miss out before it’s too late! Visit a summer meal site today! Lunch is from 11:30am-12:30pm. We hope to see you soon!

Over the past two years, it has been our pleasure to serve meals at no cost to all students, regardless of income. However, the federal funding required to continue feeding all students at no cost for the upcoming school year has not been granted by Congress.

Friendship, Gadsden, and Maury City Elementary school students will continue to receive meals at no cost for the 22-23 school year due to being a Provision 2 or CEP school.

Breakfast will remain at no cost for Crockett County Middle School and Crockett County High School students. Free and reduced lunch meals will still be available to those CCMS and CCHS students who qualify based on household income via free and reduced meal applications. All other CCMS and CCHS students must pay full price ($2.85) for their lunches. Free and reduced meal applications will be sent home with students at the beginning of the school year and will also be available at Open House. Applications can be completed online at www.schoolcafe.com/crockettcs as well.

Crockett County School Nutrition remains committed to providing safe, healthy, and enjoyable meals to our students. We thank you for the support that you have given to us over the last several years, and we look forward to continuing to do what we love most- feeding our children!

🎥Tomorrow morning @ 8:30 at the BCBS Park Summer Feeding site! Come get FREE breakfast and possibly be on camera! A production crew will be there filming our site to use for advertising! We’d love to have a large crowd of kids for them to capture how much our community loves our new park!! 🎥 💙

The Crockett County School District will be providing FREE meals to all children 18 years and younger throughout the summer months as part of the USDA Seamless Summer Option.

The Summer Feeding Program will begin next week, Tuesday, May 31st. See flyer below for more information.
