Farmer's Daughter is open today until 6 PM and Saturday from 10 AM until 3:30 PM.

Meri's Boutique is open today until 6 PM and Saturday from 10 AM until 3 PM.

Doris Ann's is open today until 5 PM and Saturday from 10 AM until 3 PM.

Last night, Crockett County came together for a beautiful Sea of Lights, traveling through our communities in remembrance of the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

Today, on the 25th anniversary of 9/11, we remember the lives lost, the heroes who answered the call, and the strength and unity our country showed in the days that followed.

Thank you to everyone who helped make last night possible and to every community member who came out along the route to remember and honor.

May we never forget.

Tonight, our community comes together to remember and honor those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

The 9/11 Night of Remembrance begins at 6:30 p.m. at Friendship Elementary School and will travel through Maury City, Bells, Gadsden, Alamo, and end at the Alamo Court Square.

Please share this post and tell your friends and family to come out somewhere along the route to show their support and help us honor this important day.

If you take photos this evening, come back to this post and share them in the comments! This will help everyone keep up with where they are along the route and allow us to see moments from across Crockett County.

We hope to see our community lining the route tonight. Never forget.

We had a lovely morning celebrating our new Storybook Trail at Alamo City Park with a ribbon cutting! We are so thankful for all of the community members who came out to celebrate with us. Our very first readers were Alamo Elementary School’s third graders!

So many people have spent months planning and working to bring the Storybook Trail to life, and we are so happy to finally see it open for our community to enjoy.

Stop by Alamo City Park with your kiddos, read the story along the trail, and enjoy some time outdoors!
