Norfolk Southern has a train that is currently blocking both Butler Rd and Maylene Lane crossings off Highway 17. There is no ETA at this time. We will update when the roadway is clear.

Our School Resource Officers are attending The Alabama Association of School Resource Officers-TAASRO annual conference this week alongside representatives from Alabaster City Schools.

This conference provides valuable training, networking, and collaboration opportunities focused on school safety and student well-being. We’re proud of the strong partnership between our agency and Alabaster City Schools and appreciate the continued teamwork that helps support and protect our students, staff, and school community every day.

Norfolk Southern has a train that is currently blocking both Butler Rd and Maylene Lane crossings off Highway 17. There is no ETA at this time. We will update when the roadway is clear.
