🥾 Grab your boots, water, & snacks to join the Summit County AND Stark County Young Dems for a joint group hike! We will be tackling the Green Trail at Quail Hollow Park in Hartville as we continue our group hikes! The trail is 1.73 miles long and is more rugged and a natural surface, according to Stark Parks, so plan accordingly. Dress appropriately for the weather and hope to see you there!

🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ Be sure to join the Summit County Young Democrats at the 10th Annual Akron Pride Festival & Equity March this Saturday from 9:30AM to 5PM! We will be tabling the entire day, so be sure to stop by our tent and say hi! We will be handing out candy, information on how to get involved as a young person, and information for our future events. March for a candidate and make sure to say hi to the Young Dems! See you there! 💙

🍁 Fall into campaign season with the Summit County Young Democrats at our September General Meeting! We will meet at the Northwest Akron Branch Library at 6PM on September 16th, where we will hear from candidates and campaigns as we move into the heart of campaign season. We will discuss ways to get involved and how you can make a difference this election, along with planning out future events for the club. Hope to see you there! 💙

The Summit County Young Democrats AND the Stark County Young Democrats had a great time at the Summit County Progressive Democrats - PAC picnic earlier this month! We met with local progressives, elected officials, and statewide candidates running this year! Always appreciate opportunities such as these!

🌊 Get ready to ride the blue wave with the Summit County Young Democrats at our First Annual Blue BBQ & Picnic on Saturday, August 29th! Join us at 3PM at the Shady Beach Shelter in the Munroe Falls Metro Park for an afternoon of good community, good food, and good fun! The event is free to attend, but we do ask that you bring a dish to share if you are able (burgers & hotdogs will be provided)! We cannot wait to see you!
