Thank you to Magistrate Joseph Mittica for volunteering to be a part of a panel discussion held yesterday at the Akron Bar Association for new Summit Legal Defenders Interns.

Magistrate Mittica, along with Stow Municipal Court Judge Amber Zibritosky, Ohio Ninth District Court of Appeals Judge Betty Sutton and Summit County Court of Common Pleas Judge Tammy O'Brien, helped answer questions that the Interns had as they begin their summer internship.

Congratulations to the Archbishop Hoban High School Mock Trial Team on its 2026 State Championship title!

Our state's mock trial program is made possible by more than 1,000 legal professionals who serve as judges, competition coordinators and team advisors.

The group represented Ohio at the National High School Mock Trial Competition earlier this month in Des Moines, Iowa. The event was hosted by the Iowa State Bar Association.
