A shift crews responded to a fire near Firestone park earlier today. Fire was extinguished quickly and crews did an amazing job!!

AFD would like to acknowledge the heroic efforts of the Engine 3A crew that responded to a house fire last Thursday. FF Tommy Gauer, FM Tom Yakubik, and Lt. Paul Kidder arrived at the scene with a report of an occupant still inside. Along with the other responding companies, Engine 3A made entry to search for the occupant. FF Gauer and FM Yakubik quickly found the unconscious person in the basement. Just another example of the hard work and dedication our department personifies. Strong work Engine 3A, and an all-around great effort by all of the companies that responded.

E13 putting in some training today with our friends from Station 8. Today, we practiced flowing big water by using relay pumping to flow a Ladder.
