Brittany Neal always aspired to be a mother. After discovering she couldn't have biological children, her experience as an EKG tech at Akron Children's Hospital led her to foster care, where she saw children in need. Brittany became a foster and adoptive mom in North Canton. Her youngest daughter, Stormi, three and a half years old, has Bainbridge-Ropers Syndrome, a rare condition affecting fewer than 300 people globally. Stormi is nonverbal, has autism, and her bone age is about a year and a half behind.
