Akron Roundtable About Akron Roundtable The Akron Roundtable was established in 1976 as a community forum to encourage and bring bold, creative and new ideas to the region.

To date, more than 360 major corporate executives, writers, government officials, artists, and civic leaders from around the country have shared their thoughts on subjects of global, national and regional importance with Akron Roundtable audiences.

What a special day marking our 50th Anniversary AND hosting an incredible crowd to hear Summa Health Daryl Tol’s address on the Future of Healthcare. He faced some challenging questions and eased concerns about how HATCo will create a new model of healthcare for Akron and hopefully the country. Thanks to all the city, county and federal officials for recognition and to all who celebrated with us yesterday. Happy May - Happy 50th Anniversary to us! This month marks 50 years since our first event in May of 1976. We are proud and honored to continue the legacy of creating connection, fostering dialogue and building community in Akron. Our entire year of programming has been dedicated to celebrating our anniversary, but this month's luncheon will be a little extra festive - we hope you will join us for the party on 5/21!
