OPEN M is looking for a dependable, friendly volunteer to help at our Front Desk and welcome the people who walk through our doors.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys conversation, crossword puzzles, reading, staying organized and having a meaningful routine while making a difference in the community.
As a Front Desk Volunteer, you’ll help:
• Welcome clients, guests, volunteers and partners
• Answer phones and connect people with the right department
• Help clients check in and find their way around
• Share information about OPEN M programs and services
• Assist volunteers and community partners
• Help keep the lobby and front desk organized
• Handle mail, deliveries and other basic administrative tasks
• Provide a calm, welcoming presence for people who may be going through a difficult time
We can work with your schedule! Volunteers can serve on any day, with a particular need for:
🕗 8 AM–Noon | Any Day
🌙 4–8 PM | Wednesdays & Thursdays
Evening shifts help provide coverage for our Clinic Desk.
You can volunteer once a week to once a month, depending on your availability. Training is provided before you begin.
If you’re reliable, patient, comfortable talking with people and looking for a way to put your time and life experience to work in a meaningful way, we’d love to have you join us.
