Today, we’re shining the spotlight on Jordin, one of our wonderful CNAs! 💙

Jordin always comes to work with a smile on her face and a positive attitude. She is dedicated to helping our residents and consistently puts her best foot forward in everything she does. Her compassion, willingness to help, and commitment to our residents do not go unnoticed, and we deeply appreciate everything she brings to our team! 🥰

🏆 Accomplishments: Earning her CNA license, becoming CPR certified, and, most importantly, being able to help people when they are in need.

🩺 Future Goals: Jordin hopes to become a nurse someday and would love to pursue a career working in pediatrics! 👶🩺

✨Meet the Rivers Edge Team✨ Glenn Swanson-Cook

Today we’re shining the spotlight on one of our wonderful cooks, Glenn! 👨‍🍳❤️

Glenn has been with us for a little while now and has been such a great addition to the Rivers Edge family! He always comes to work with a positive attitude, a great work ethic, and fantastic teamwork skills. We truly appreciate everything he brings to our team and the care he puts into helping make each day a little better for our residents and staff. 🥰

When Glenn isn’t at work, you can usually find him enjoying some of his favorite hobbies, including fishing, ice fishing, and four-wheeling! He also loves spending time with his family, especially his two great nephews and his niece. ❤️

One of Glenn’s biggest goals for the future is to continue working with the elderly, because caring for and connecting with older adults is truly his passion. He loves knowing that something as simple as spending a few minutes visiting with a resident can brighten their entire day. Seeing them happy makes Glenn happy, and that genuine compassion is something we are so grateful to have here at Rivers Edge. 💙

✨Meet the Rivers Edge Team✨ Ashlyn Peel-Care Provider

Today we’re shining the spotlight on one of our wonderful care providers, Ashlyn Peel! 💙

Ashlyn has been part of the Rivers Edge family for nearly two years, and we are so grateful to have her on our team! She has been a wonderful addition to Rivers Edge and is always willing to jump in, lend a hand, and help wherever she is needed. Her willingness to support her coworkers and residents is just one of the many things we appreciate about her! 🫶

When Ashlyn isn’t at Rivers Edge, she has quite the creative and adventurous side! She enjoys hiking, gardening, painting, singing, and sewing. 🌿🎨🎶🧵

Ashlyn has some amazing goals for her future! She plans to continue her education at St. Olaf College, where she hopes to earn her degree in biology and eventually pursue her MD. She also plans to continue pursuing her love of theatre and music along the way! 🎓🩺🎭🎵

When asked who the most important people in her life are, Ashlyn says her parents and her roommate, Lila. ❤️

✨Meet the Rivers Edge Team✨ Levi Berg-Dietary Aide

This week we're excited to shine the spotlight on one of our amazing dietary aides, Levi! We are so grateful to have him as part of the Rivers Edge family. Levi brings a positive attitude, a creative spark, and plenty of energy to every shift, making a difference for both our residents and his coworkers.

Outside of work, Levi is currently pursuing a degree in Social Studies Education. He enjoys staying active by playing tennis and pickleball—and fun fact, he's even a proud member of USA Pickleball! When he's not on the court, you'll likely find him hiking, traveling, or cheering on all of his favorite Detroit sports teams.🎾🏓🚗🦁

Levi is also incredibly talented musically. He's been playing guitar for seven years and spent this summer learning to play the piano. He also has a passion for theater and recently took the stage as Kevin G in Mean Girls the musical!🎤

When asked who has made the biggest impact on his life, Levi shared that he's especially grateful for his mom, Chad, his brother Kaleb, his Yama, and especially his Papa for always believing in him and supporting his dreams.❤️

Thank you, Levi, for your hard work, kindness, and enthusiasm. We're lucky to have you on the Rivers Edge team, and we can't wait to see all the amazing things your future holds! 💙👏
