Bobby, a 7th grade student at Kennedy, has a passion for fossils and rocks. His impressive fossil and rock collection is currently on display at the Aiken County Library. How fun to see his passion on display in a way that our entire community can enjoy! If you are out and about, and have the time, stop by the county library to check it out.

On Friday we celebrated our students who scored within 10 points of their spring iReady test with a Back 2 School Bash. We had fun celebrating our students and are proud of the efforts they put forth to meet their goals. Thank you to all who donated snacks. We appreciate you!

We are shining the spotlight on the outstanding volunteer efforts of the NJROTC cadets from Kennedy Middle and South Aiken High in our first community service event of the new school year. We had 24 cadets spend 5 hours volunteering in the extreme heat at the Purple Sneaker Kick-Off event at the Aiken Memory Center, providing a total of 120 hours of service to the community. Their efforts were very much appreciated by the staff at the Memory Center. Their behavior and dedication were praised by multiple people and have already been asked back. They were fantastic ambassadors for both schools.
