📍 Role: Parks Supervisor

We asked Neel about his job at the City of Aiken Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism!

💚WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SPOT IN ANY OF THE CITY OF AIKEN’S PARKS OR FACILITIES?
My favorite spots are Citizens Park and Kalmia Hill. Kalmia Hill because it is so peaceful.

💚WHAT PROGRAM OR FACILITY WOULD YOU ENCOURAGE RESIDENTS TO TRY?
I highly recommend trying tennis at Weeks Tennis Center — Mark is an excellent instructor who makes learning the game fun.

💚WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE PRT MOMENT?
I have two favorite moments. First was when Ray Tanner came to baseball camp at Citizens Park. My second favorite moment was when Citizens Park hosted the Southern Belles World Series Softball Tournament — the energy was great, and everyone had a lot of team spirit.

Thank you, Neel, for your hard work, dedication, and commitment to making our parks and programs a place where our community can learn, play, and connect. We appreciate everything you do!

Since 1989, Neel has been working for PRT. Neel is always out in the Parks working hard. If you get lucky enough to meet him, you will have a great time, laugh a lot, and hear entertaining stories!
