💙 Some gifts go far beyond a dollar amount. They are a reminder that our children matter.

At the Child Advocacy Center of Aiken County, we are deeply grateful to Representative Melissa Oremus for her generous contribution and her meaningful support of our mission.

We know that we cannot change what happened to a child. But together, we can help change what happens next.

We can provide safety.
We can provide hope.
We can provide healing.
And we can remind every child who walks through our doors that they are not alone.

Support like this allows us to continue standing beside children and families when they need us most. It helps us ensure that every child has the opportunity to heal, find hope, and move forward.

Thank you, Representative Oremus, for believing in our mission and investing in the children and families we serve. Your generosity truly makes a difference. 💙

We are grateful to have caring members of our community who stand with us for the children.

WORDS MATTER🗣️

Children are constantly learning how they fit into the world—and the words we use can help shape that understanding.

Encouragement doesn’t mean avoiding boundaries or consequences. It means making sure children know that mistakes don’t change their worth.

What is one encouraging phrase an adult said to you as a child that you still remember?

Today, we remember September 11, 2001 — a day that forever changed our nation.

25 years later, we honor the lives lost, the families who were changed forever, and the heroes who ran toward danger to help others. We remember the courage, compassion, and unity that emerged in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

May we never forget the lives, the stories, and the sacrifices of that day. 🇺🇸

Creating a safer tomorrow starts with the community we build today. 💙

At the Child Advocacy Center of Aiken County, we believe healing doesn’t happen alone. It happens when children have caring adults beside them, families have the support they need, and our community comes together to make sure no child has to navigate a difficult experience without help.

From advocacy and crisis support to connecting families with resources and helping remove barriers to safety and healing, we’re here to walk alongside children and families when they need us most.

Your support helps make that work possible. When you donate to the Child Advocacy Center, you help provide the resources, care, and support children and families need on their journey toward healing.

Consider making a donation today and help us continue creating safer tomorrows for the children in our community.🫶

Community partnerships make a difference!💙

We’re grateful to Fostering The Family and Breezy Hill Baptist Church for their generous donation of snacks for the children and families we serve at the Child Advocacy Center of Aiken County.

Fostering the Family works alongside churches and communities to support foster, adoptive, and kinship families, helping connect families with the practical resources and support they need. Their work is built on the belief that vulnerable children and the families caring for them thrive when they have a strong community surrounding them.

Pictured is Kerri Rogerson, a member of Fostering the Family. Thank you, Kerri, for delivering the generous snack donation to the CAC!

Thank you, Fostering the Family and Breezy Hill Baptist Church, for thinking of the children and families in our community and for helping us make sure they feel cared for and supported. 💙

We’re so thankful for partners who show up!

🚨 CHILD ABUSE DOESN’T ALWAYS LOOK LIKE WHAT WE EXPECT.

Sometimes the signs are easy to miss. Sometimes a child doesn’t have the words to tell us what is happening. And sometimes, the person who notices the smallest change is the person who makes the biggest difference.
That’s why speaking up matters.
We’re honored to share this PSA —a reminder that protecting children is not just the responsibility of professionals, but also the community.

👀 Know the signs.
💙 Listen when a child speaks.
🗣️ Speak up when something doesn’t feel right.
🛡️ Help create a community where every child is safe, heard, and believed.

A very special thank you to Rosey Baker for bringing this message to life through video and to Katie Gantt for writing the script and helping create this important PSA.

Please watch. Share. Start a conversation. You never know who may need to hear this message.

Together, we can make a difference in the life of a child. 💙
