Our Tall Pines families have already helped fund multiple DonorsChoose projects this year, giving our teachers the resources to create even more amazing experiences for our students. We are SO grateful for your support!

Our teachers are resourceful, creative, and FUN, and this project is a perfect example! Like, how amazing is this title alone!?!? 🎨🏛️✏️

“Artisans, Architects, and Scribes...Oh, My!” will give students the chance to explore history through hands-on art, STEM, and creative projects.

We KNOW we have been asking a lot from our families right now, and there is absolutely NO pressure. But if you’d like to help our teachers bring this one to life, we’d love to have you join us!

🎉 A HUGE Congratulations to our SRO, SSGT. Tuper! 🎉

We are celebrating our SRO, Josh Tuper, on his promotion to Staff Sergeant in the Special Victim's Unit with the Aiken County Sheriff's Office!

This promotion is so well deserved and is a reflection of the dedication, leadership, and heart he brings to serving our community. We are incredibly proud of him and excited to see all that he will accomplish in his new role supervising School Resource Officers!

Now for the bittersweet part...

While we are SO excited for SSGT. Tuper and his new opportunity, we are definitely going to miss having him as OUR SRO. He has become such an important part of the TPSA family, and our students and staff are lucky to have had him looking out for us.

Thankfully, he isn't leaving us just yet.... he will be staying with us while a new SRO is trained and ready to step into his place; which means we get a little more time with him!

Congratulations Tuper, we are proud to call you one of our own and are cheering you on in this next chapter! Once a Timberwolf, always a Timberwolf!

💚 OUR FAMILIES DID IT AGAIN! 💚

There are honestly not enough words to say THANK YOU to our TPSA families and community for continuing to show up, support our teachers, and pour into our students.

Our latest DonorsChoose project for classroom dehumidifiers has officially been fulfilled! 🎉

This may sound like a simple classroom need, but it makes a HUGE difference and also helps take some of the extra work off our A/C units. Every time you say, “I'm going to help with this one,” you are literally helping us build better classrooms for our students. We are SO grateful.

With all that being said..... we have a:

🚨Challenge Alert🚨

Our 5th grade writing teacher, Mrs. Underwood, has some AMAZING ideas brewing, and she is ready to make her classroom and her students....... GLOW!

She's creating a black-light-themed writing environment designed to get her students excited, engaged, and completely immersed in the experience. Think glowing classroom. Think creativity. Think “Wait…school CAN BE THIS FUN!?!”

She has some seriously fun ideas to transform her room into a space where students WANT to write, WANT to create, WANT to take risks, and WANT to let their imaginations run wild.

And we want to see her make it happen. ALL. OF. IT.

So here is our next challenge to our incredibly generous TPSA family:

Let's show her that when our teachers dream BIG for our kids, we will dream BIG right alongside them.

🥵Our A/C units are taking a beating! With the heat and humidity, our classrooms are working hard to stay comfortable (especially after those recess crews come inside🤢) and we are hoping that our AMAZING families and friends can help us out once again!

Just YESTERDAY, you helped us fully fund 5th grade's DonorsChoose project in less than 24 hours! We are so incredibly grateful for the way our families continue to show up and show out.

Our newest project is all about dehumidifiers for our classrooms. They'll help remove excess moisture from the air, create a more comfortable learning environment and take some strain off of our hardworking A/C units. 🫠

Let's see if we can work our Timberwolf magic again!!
