Centerra-SRS is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Analyst II, Budget to join our Finance & Contracts team. This position plays a key role in formulating, analyzing, and executing company budget requirements in support of the Department of Energy (DOE) and National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA).
🔎 What You’ll Do:
- Develop and execute annual budgets, including the Annual Operational Plan (AOP) and DOE/NNSA budget submissions.
- Analyze federal budget guidance from DOE and NNSA to determine budget and reporting requirements.
- Perform labor and non-labor budget formulation and variance analysis.
- Present and justify budget needs to Senior Management, DOE, and NNSA.
- Review and approve purchase requisitions, personnel requisitions, and travel authorizations.
- Monitor funding, identify trends, and provide strategic cost recommendations.
- Prepare monthly accruals, variance reports, and financial reconciliations.
🎓 Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in budget, accounting, and cost analysis (spreadsheet proficiency required)
- Experience with the Federal Budget process preferred
- Ability to obtain/maintain a DOE “L” security clearance
