🩸 STOP THE BLEED | R.D. Stethem Battalion Drill
Last weekend’s drill gave our cadets the opportunity to build critical, lifesaving skills through Stop the Bleed and Combat Life Saver training led by US Navy Chief Morales-Alarcon and LT Richter.
Cadets received hands-on instruction in the M.A.R.C.H. method, including proper tourniquet application and techniques for responding to life-threatening injuries.
Later in the drill, cadets put those skills into action by learning how to safely load and maneuver a medical litter and practicing lifesaving buddy carries to move an injured person to safety.
A huge thank you to Chief Morales-Alarcon and LT Richter for sharing their time, experience, and knowledge with our cadets! 🇺🇸⚓️ U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps Navy League of the United States, Honolulu Council
