Integrated Family Services was honored to participate in the “Unity in the Community”, 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance, commemorating the 25th anniversary of September 11.

Hosted by Greene Lamp Community Action in partnership with Kinston Fire & Rescue and Lenoir County EMS, the event brought the community together to honor those affected by 9/11 while promoting service, resilience, and community support.

Together, we honor the past by serving our community today.

There’s joy in every part of the foster care journey. ❤️

We asked foster parents and members of our therapeutic foster care team to share a joy they’ve experienced while working with foster children.

From celebrating small milestones to building meaningful connections, these moments are a reminder of why this work matters so much.

Every student deserves convenient access to mental health support—without extra stress on the family.

We partner with local schools to deliver professional therapy directly on campus, making care simple, accessible, and integrated into their routine. Speak with your school counselor to explore the referral process and find out how we can support your student.

What happens when you call the IFS Crisis Access Line? 📞

We asked members of the IFS team to walk us through what happens when someone reaches out for help.

From the moment your call is answered, trained professionals are there to listen, understand what’s going on, and help connect you with the right support and resources.

Sometimes, making the call is the first step toward getting the help you need.

While preventable, overdoses continue to affect our neighbors, our loved ones, and our community. Today, we encourage you to speak openly, educate others about the risks of drug use, take time to learn from others, and treat everyone with kindness – no matter what. There are solutions to prevent overdosing, and we are encouraging everyone to get involved and help make a change.
