On June 11, Integrated Family Services' Central Regional Director of Mobile Crisis, Dayna L. Farrington, served as a panelist at the All Hands On Deck: Anchored in Recovery conference.

Hosted by Truth2Live: Peer Recovery Services and Trillium Health Resources, this community-focused symposium brought together local leaders, clinicians, peer support specialists, and advocates to strengthen community resources, foster collaboration, and build support networks for individuals in recovery.

A special thank you to Khrecia Holley of Truth2Live, guest speakers Lester Young and Lisa Gennosa, and all of the panelists for creating such a meaningful and impactful learning experience.

Integrated Family Services participated in the Resilience in Motion: A Community's Response to Recovery annual symposium on June 2nd.

The event was sponsored by Wilson County Department of Social Services and Trillium Health Resources. The Resilience in Motion symposium is dedicated to addressing trauma, substance use, and mental wellness. The movement equips local professionals and residents with actionable tools for trauma-informed care, compassion fatigue management, and stigma reduction.

Guess speakers were Cheryl Fuller MEd, Kirstie Steele, Stephen Loyd, MD, George Venturella, Judi Thurston and Daequwon Currie.

On May 16th, Integrated Family Services partnered with Onslow Victims Center and the Onslow Mental Health Awareness Coalition to sponsor the CARE OUT LOUD event in Jacksonville, NC. This event was a fun-filled day with over 70 vendors bringing education, food, crafts, games, merchandise, and ultimately awareness around mental health and substance use to Onslow County. We are so proud of our Southern Region Mobile Crisis Director, Taylor Pementil, and her team(s) for all the hard work and dedication put into creating such a successful event! In addition, Taylor, alongside Julia Benefield from Onslow Victims Center, was presented with a proclamation designating May as Mental Health Awareness Month in Onslow County.
