Agua Dulce Volunteer Fire Dept. (Nueces Jim Wells ESD #5) Fire Chief, Wayne Wursthorn We are strictly a volunteer fire department that serves the same area as the ADISD boundaries.

We operate on a very small budget secured by a low tax base to the citizens of this district. Donations are still greatly needed and appreciated! The ADVFD ESD #5 is governed by an elected board of directors (or commissioners). Volunteers are badly needed and greatly appreciated!

Friendly reminder that as our temperatures drop in the Coastal Bend, our firefighters would like to take the time to remind our residents to heat their homes as safely as possible.

Please utilize only approved heating equipment, keep flammable items three feet away from heat sources, and always turn off space heaters when unattended. Do not utilize a gas stove or oven to heat your home.

When utilizing heat lamps for animals or plumbing protection. Remember to keep flammable material away from them and always place them in an area where animals can not knock them over.

We pray that everyone in our community stays warm and stay safe, this Holiday Season.
