🦋 to October 7, when our Voyagers celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month!

This year’s theme was Our Wings / Nuestras Alas: “Our Wings Help Us Soar / Nuestras alas nos ayudan a volar.” Together, we celebrated the dreams, aspirations, accomplishments, cultures, and meaningful contributions of Hispanic and Latino people.

Like butterflies, our Voyagers are growing, discovering their strengths, and using their wings to soar! 💚💛

💛 Good morning, Voyagers! 💚
Let’s start the week by remembering the power of our words. Compliments are like magnets for kindness! They help others feel seen, valued, and included!

Your challenge today is to give at least two people a sincere compliment. You might tell a classmate, “I like your drawing,” thank a teacher for helping you, or recognize someone for being a kind friend.

Let’s fill our classrooms, playground, and hallways with kind and encouraging words! 💚💛

Don’t forget to wear your favorite orange shirt, socks, sweater, or accessories on Wednesday! Together, we can make sure every Voyager feels safe, valued, and included. 🧡

🧡 Did you know October is Bullying Prevention Month? ¿Sabías que octubre es el Mes de la Prevención del Acoso Escolar? 🧡

Voyagers, kindness starts with making sure everyone feels included! 🚀

Your challenge today: Look around the playground or lunch tables. If you notice someone alone, invite them to play or sit with you. A simple “Come join us!” can brighten someone’s whole day! 💛
