🚧Traffic Update for Single Lane Closures on Agoura Rd. and Cornell Rd.🚧

Please note that the previously scheduled single-lane closures on Agoura Road and Cornell Road have been extended until Thursday, June 18, 2026. Nearby businesses and shopping areas, including Whizin Market Square, remain open and accessible.

🕘Work hours: 7 a.m. - 2 p.m. (lanes reopen after 2 p.m.)
🚦Flaggers will be onsite directing traffic

Please plan ahead for upcoming street paving work on Monday, June 22, 2026. To minimize disruptions, roadway grinding and paving will be completed during one extended
workday rather than multiple closures over several days.

Road Closures:
• Cornell Road (North & South of Agoura Road)
6:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Detour: Kanan Road & Roadside Drive
• Agoura Road (from Cornell Road East past Whizin driveway)
6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Detour: Lewis Road & Roadside Drive

• Whizin driveway (Agoura Road): Closed 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
• Whizin driveway (North Cornell): Open
• Whizin driveway (South Cornell): Closed 6:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Got hazardous waste sitting in your garage? Don't trash it! 🌎♻️

LA County residents can drop off household hazardous waste safely and for free! Here's what to know before you arrive:

- Secure everything in your trunk or pickup bed in a sturdy box, original containers preferred. Plan to leave them behind.
- No explosives, ammunition, radioactive materials, controlled substances, trash, tires or large appliances.
- Sharps have a separate drop spot that requires you to step out of your vehicle.
- 15 gallons or 125 pounds max per trip. No business waste please.

Please note that the previously scheduled single-lane closures on Agoura Road and Cornell Road have been rescheduled to June 12 and June 15, 2026 as crews prepare for final paving later this month.

🕖 Work hours: 7 a.m. – 2 p.m. (lanes reopen after 2 PM)
🚦 Flaggers will be onsite directing traffic

Please plan ahead, use alternate routes, allow extra travel time and please share the road with cyclists. Nearby businesses and shopping areas, including Whizin Market Square, remain open and accessible.

The City of Agoura Hills invites all Los Angeles County residents to take advantage of a FREE drive-thru Household Hazardous and Electronic Waste Collection Event this June.

Before you arrive, here is what you need to know:
✅ Secure all items in your trunk or pick-up bed with no other items
✅ Pack waste in a sturdy box, preferably in original containers
✅ Be prepared to leave your containers
✅ Limit of 15 gallons or 125 pounds per trip
❌ No explosives, ammunition, radioactive materials, tires, or large appliances
❌ No business waste
