Discuss4Dollars needs Lenawee County residents to participate in a consumer discussion panel.
They are running this event for 3 days but you will only be participating one day.
You must apply and be confirmed to attend.
Friday, November 7th from 1 pm-5 pm paying $250
Saturday, November 8th from 9 am-5 pm paying $300 (lunch provided)
Sunday, November 9th from 9 am-5 pm paying $300 (lunch provided)
This will be held at a hotel conference room in Adrian.

This is a great way to make a little extra income. I participated in one of these discussion groups back in February. It was an easy and fun way to make money.

Lucas County has a great program called Women Veterans Initiative (WVI) and they are happy to have us SE Michiganders participate with them! WVI is the initiative of a small local non profit titled United States Vets, Inc. They are veterans helping veterans and their families through resources, referral, advocacy and education. So far, they have found over 300 women veterans in Northwest Ohio who attend various free programs and receive the monthly newsletter. They do not have meeting nor dues, just social functions, such as: summer picnic, holiday party, movie day, and a free photo shoot. They also offer free programs in the community to increase awareness that women are out there and that our needs are different than the male veteran. Amazing event tonight to celebrate Women's Veterans Day! We gathered, we ate, and we shared our stories. It was a time of laughter, a time of tears, and a time of genuine admiration for each other. We all did what so few have done and we may have even doubted ourselves. But we all knew it was something that we wanted to accomplish. There are so many thanks to be given out and I will post more of that soon. But we are all so very grateful for our sponsors for the meal. Also, so thankful to all that donated door prizes. Such a highlight to end the evening with a great gift for each service member. Although we had some that couldn't make it, there were big plans to do this again next year and thoughts on how to include others.
