Last chance to sign up for the free anonymous Tile Monitoring Project! All farmers in Lenawee County are eligible for this opportunity. Funding for this project is wrapping up by the end of 2025.

The Tile Monitoring Project is offered in partnership with the MSU Institue of Water Research, providing participants with in-depth water quality reports that allow them to track nitrate, phosphorus, and flow from their tile lines throughout the year.

No farmer wants to lose valuable crop nutrients from their tile lines, especially when fertilizer input costs are high. If you are interested in learning about conservation performance, gaining access to your farm's water quality data through this project will be a useful tool.

If you are interested in participating, contact Allegra Baird at 517-263-7400 ext. 5565.
