🌟 Volunteer Spotlight: Marge Furgason 🌟

This month, we’re shining the spotlight on Marge Furgason, a dedicated volunteer who serves on both our Foster Grandparent and Daybreak Advisory Boards.

💬 “These programs are so beneficial for the older adults they serve, as well as the school children who get an extra ‘grandparent’ and the caregivers who get a break from 24/7 care of a loved one. We are so fortunate in Lenawee County to have the support of the community, through the LDA millage, to provide these services for older adults.”

Marge is one of those behind-the-scenes champions helping big-hearted programs run smoothly—connecting generations, supporting caregivers, and strengthening our community one thoughtful contribution at a time.

🌷 Favorite Spring Activity: Walking in the fresh air & reading outdoors
🍦 Favorite Ice Cream: Chocolate Chip
🧶 Hobbies: Reading, knitting hats & scarves to give away

Thank you, Marge, for weaving kindness into Lenawee County—literally and figuratively. 💙
