In response to the medium community levels of COVID-19 in our surrounding communities, APG will move to HPCON BRAVO effective 25 MAY 2022.

In accordance with DoD guidance:

1. Commanders have the authority to bring up to 80% of their workforce onsite, and we encourage organizations to limit the size of indoor gatherings.

2. All military, civilian, or contractors entering facilities for business must be fully vaccinated, submit to mandatory screening testing, or provide proof of a negative test within the past 72 hours before entering the worksites. Official visitors must provide proof of vaccination or a negative test during installation visits, as well.

3. Mask wear continues to be optional across the installation, except in mandatory masking areas such as Kirk Army Health Clinic, but individuals are encouraged to wear them whenever they choose.

In the military, the stigma of mental health is grounded in the cultural stereotypes that a service member must have "zero defects" to be mission ready. Join in its campaign to surrounding mental health and our service members.

Remaining Ready and Resilient includes being mindful of our emotional, psychological, and cognitive well-being. Here are a few tips to consider for your personal mental well-being plan:

Mindfulness Based Interventions (ex. Yoga, Tai Chi, Meditation)
Exercise (ex. Walking, Golf, Lifting Weights)
Social Connection (ex. Hang out with friends, Talk to a therapist, Make time for family)

In a PARTNERSHIP FOR THE PLANET, the Army is collaborating with federal agencies, academia and industry to evaluate how climate, conservation and species preservation contributes to readiness. The application of this knowledge will lead to improve installation infrastructure and ensure the homeland is protected and defended from current and future threats.

Army land, air and water resources are vital to both present and future missions, and we must nurture the environment with an eye towards modernization and conservation.

Warmer weather marks the beginning of the riding season for motorcyclists, which can present challenges to other drivers on the road. Motorcycle involved crashes are most prevalent between Friday and Sunday between 2 p.m. and 9 p.m. when more than 50 percent of motorcycle crashes occur.

Motorists have a responsibility to look out for motorcycle riders, as they would for other cars and trucks.
