Adell Fire Department and First Responders

10/09/2026

Our Fire Prevention Week school visits continue this morning. At 9:00am, crews from the Silver Creek Fire Department, Random Lake Fire Department , and Adell Fire Department will be at Random Lake Elementary School. Getting into the classrooms gives us a great opportunity to talk directly with the students about fire safety and help them build habits that will keep them safe for a lifetime. Aaaannnd, possibly start recruiting our future firefighters! 😜

While we are sharing our fire prevention message with the kids today, we have an easy tip for everyone at home. Fully charged? Time to unplug. Unplug your device when it is fully charged. Leaving a device plugged in can increase heat and stress on the battery. It’s a simple habit to practice, but it goes a long way in preventing battery emergencies.

Earlier this year, Adell Fire and First Responders put our 2026 Polaris Ranger 1500 XD UTV into service!

Equipped with Duratracks tracks, an 85-gallon water tank, and a Stokes basket rack, this unit helps us reach difficult terrain for fire response and rescues.

A big thank-you to Cedar Creek Motorsports for helping us choose the right UTV for our needs and Vinyl Graphics for doing the decals! We appreciate your support! 👏

🚒 A HUGE THANK YOU TO TC ENERGY! 🚒

Through a TC Energy grant, Adell Fire & First Responders were able to purchase a QTAC 85EMS-C UTV skid!

This equipment will greatly enhance our ability to respond to fires and emergencies in hard-to-reach areas.
