In Corning Leader's April 24th edition, the information about a vote to dissolve the village or to squash the proposal is incorrect. The correct information is as follows:

The Village of Addison Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting at Village Hall on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 6:00 pm for the purpose of:
-The Endorsement of the Proposed Village of Addison Dissolution Plan and to call for a Public Hearing regarding the proposed plan.
-Thr appointment of a Motor Equipment Operator (MEO) for the DPW department.

The date and time for the Public Hearing on the proposed Dissolution Plan will be announced on Thursday .

Village of Addison Community Yard Sale Day

The Village of Addison Board of Trustees has designated Saturday, May 30, 2026, as Addison Community Yard Sale Days, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. No permit will be required for setting up at a residence. Vendor setups will be permitted in village-owned properties (Bliss Park, Main Street Municipal Lot, Curtis Square, etc.) by obtaining a Special Use Event Permit through the Village Clerk's Office. Permits can be obtained for a $10.00 donation to the Addison Village Parks & Trees Fund and will be available through Friday, May 22, 2026.
