Our VFW 7446 Auxiliary member, Jim Lambert donated pounds of Pop Tabs at our Meeting held on Wednesday September 2nd. These Pop Tabs go to the Ronald McDonald House near Hines Hospital to help the children recovering from various illnesses. Thank you Jim for your support of our Youth program.

On Saturday August 29th we held our first Famers Market. We want to thank all of the wonderful vendors, the community and surrounding communities for stopping by just to say Hi, hang out, purchase items or volunteer. This could not have been possible without your support. Special Thank You goes out to Donato Latrofa, Rob Kolar, Lynda LaPonte Grossi, Joanne Wallich, Linda Wellington, Tom Campion, Donna Atkins Frick and the whole team who put a lot of time and effort in to make this event a huge success! At VFW Auxiliary National Headquarters, we have received a number of questions recently about VFW and VFW Auxiliary scholarships and contests. There is some confusion about which scholarships and contests "belong" to which organization, so we've created this quick, handy guide to help keep it all straight!

VFW Auxiliary scholarships for high school students include the Young American Patriotic Art Contest and 3-Dimensional Art Contest. Find more information about these on our website, here: https://vfwauxiliary.org/what-we-do/scholarships-2/

Thank you to ALL the amazing vendors and volunteers at our first farmers market. It was a great turnout. I know many of you were disappointed that there were no fruits and vegetables for sale and that the name should have been Crafters Market. A vendor was booked for fruits and veggies, unfortunately had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. It’s okay though as it was a beautiful day, with wonderful vendors, volunteers, veterans and so many people came to check it out. We appreciate all of you. Thank you so very much for your support! If anyone has pictures please post them and tag us.
