🎓❤️ From Bush Patriots ❤️💙 to Walker Wolfpack 🐺💚 to W. T. White Longhorns 🤘🧡…

Over the past two weeks, our W. T. White Class of 2026 seniors made their way back home to Bush Elementary for one final walk through the halls where their educational journey began. 🏫✨

They reunited with former teachers, shared memories from years gone by, took countless photos, played on the playground one last time, and proudly stood in front of the mural they helped create as Bush students. 📸🎨❤️

Tonight, they crossed an even bigger stage. They walked across the graduation stage as W. T. White Longhorns and stepped into the next chapter of their lives. 🎓🌟

This class is especially meaningful to us because Mrs. Reeves had the privilege of teaching many of these students as 5th graders. To watch them grow from elementary students into high school graduates and then have the honor of cheering them on as they received their diplomas was a true full-circle moment. ❤️

To the Class of 2026: We are incredibly proud of you. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey. No matter where life takes you next, you will always have a home at Bush Elementary.

Congratulations, graduates! 🎉🎓 The world is waiting for your greatness, and we cannot wait to see all that you accomplish. ❤️💙🤍

🚀🎉 LEVEL UP DAY WAS A SUCCESS! 🎉🚀

Today our Bush Patriots in Pre-K through 5th grade had the opportunity to “LEVEL UP” and visit their future classrooms for the 2026–2027 school year! 📚✨

Students were overjoyed as they met their new teachers, explored new classrooms, connected with future classmates, and got excited about all the amazing learning adventures ahead! 💙❤️

The smiles, excitement, hugs, and happy energy throughout the building made today incredibly special. Watching our students walk into their future classrooms with confidence and curiosity reminded us just how bright the future is at Bush Elementary! 🌟

A huge thank you to our incredible teachers and staff for making this experience engaging, welcoming, and memorable for every student. We cannot wait to see our Bush Patriots continue to grow, lead, and shine next school year! 🫶🏽✨

🔥🏃🏽‍♂️🇺🇸 WARRIOR GAMES 2026 🇺🇸🏃🏽‍♀️🔥

On Friday, May 15, 2025, our Bush Patriots participated in our Warrior Games obstacle course, the exciting finale to a year long service learning project led by our incredible 6th grade leaders! 💪🏽⭐

Throughout the year, students researched the Wounded Warrior Project, an organization that supports veterans and service members injured while serving our country. They learned about courage, resilience, teamwork, and perseverance, then brought those lessons to life through obstacle course challenges filled with energy, leadership, and school spirit! ❤️💙

Watching students encourage one another, overcome challenges, and celebrate together made us incredibly proud. It was a powerful reminder of what happens when students lead with heart and purpose! 🇺🇸🙌🏽

🍔❤️ Bush Elementary felt SO loved on Thursday! ❤️🍔

A HUGE thank you to the incredible team at Rodeo Goat for partnering with us and blessing our teachers with an amazing Teacher Appreciation meal! From the juicy burgers to the fresh salads and all the delicious sides, every single bite was absolutely incredible. 🍟✨

What meant the most was not just the food, but the heart behind it. Supporting teachers, celebrating schools, and pouring back into the community speaks volumes about the kind of organization Rodeo Goat is. They did not just cater a meal… they made our staff feel seen, valued, and appreciated. 💙

If you have not been to Rodeo Goat yet, TRUST US… you are missing out! Their food is phenomenal, the service is amazing, and they truly care about the communities they serve. We are beyond excited about this partnership and cannot wait to continue working together. 🙌🏽

🎉💙 What an incredible day at Bush Elementary! Today we proudly celebrated Leadership Day, our Service Learning Expo, and our Leader in Me Lighthouse Review Day! 💙🎉

Our campus was filled with excitement as families, community partners, local businesses, and even state representatives visited Bush to experience the amazing leadership, learning, and service happening throughout our school. Our students truly SHINED as they shared their goals, leadership roles, academic growth, and the positive impact they are making in our community. 🌟

We could not be more proud of our Bush Patriots. Days like today are so important because they give our students the opportunity to use their voice, showcase their leadership, and demonstrate that every child has the ability to lead and make a difference. Watching our students confidently present, collaborate, and inspire others reminded us exactly why we do this work every single day. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who visited and supported our campus today. Bush Elementary continues to grow because of the incredible partnership between our students, staff, families, and community. We are proud to be Bush Patriots! 🇺🇸💙

🥧 Bush Patriot Celebration! 🥧

Today was a BIG day at Bush Elementary! Our 3rd–6th grade students who met their SMC 3 goals, mastered their targets, or showed incredible growth earned the chance to participate in one of our most exciting annual traditions… Pie the Principal!

Students who reached their goals had the opportunity to pie the principal of their choice, and let’s just say there were a lot of laughs, whipped cream, and smiling faces all around! 🎉

Events like this are a fun way to celebrate hard work, perseverance, and academic success. We are so proud of our Bush Patriots for setting goals, pushing themselves, and achieving great things.

Thank you to our amazing students and supportive families for helping make Bush Elementary such a special place to learn and grow. We can’t wait to celebrate even more victories together!

🌟 Bush Elementary Leadership Update 🌟

Dear Bush Families,

This week was an incredible and historic week for our campus! Bush Elementary was proudly highlighted and showcased as a Leader in Me Lighthouse school, and our student leaders truly rose to the occasion. 🎉

Our amazing student leaders served as tour guides for over 120 visitors, confidently sharing how leadership lives in our classrooms every single day. They represented Bush with professionalism, confidence, and pride. We could not be more proud of them! 👏🏽💙

Today, we had the special opportunity to take three of our outstanding student leaders to the Irving Convention Center, where they represented our school and showcased their leadership to others across the region. They did an exceptional job being ambassadors for Bush Elementary! 🌎✨

George H.W. Bush Elementary students headed home with a few extra stories from this year's book fair, and we were proud to help make that happen.

Because of the partnership between George Bush Elementary and our department, the campus book fair was able to gift a new book to several students in every single classroom—putting stories, adventures, and big dreams directly into their hands.

None of this would have been possible without some truly incredible donors who stepped up without hesitation to invest in these kids. Your generosity didn’t just buy books; it showed these students that their community believes in them and their future.

From all of us at the police department and from the smiling readers at George Bush Elementary: thank you for turning pages into possibilities.
