The importance of working together for a common interest cannot be overstated.
GSCO is proud to partner with SCI in the ongoing fight to protect hunters' rights, safeguard our hunting heritage, and ensure a strong future for conservation.
Through the support of GSCO and its members, we were honored to present SCI with a $150,000 contribution toward hunter advocacy efforts in 2026. This follows contributions of $125,000 in 2025 and $90,000 in 2024, bringing GSCO's total support for advocacy to $365,000 over the past three years.
These contributions represent far more than dollars. They reflect the collective commitment of GSCO members who understand that conservation, hunting opportunity, and advocacy are strongest when organizations work together toward a common goal.
Thank you to every GSCO member whose support helps make efforts like this possible. Together, we continue to ensure that the voice of hunters remains strong for generations to come.

GSCO Director of Conservation, Darren Tucker, is currently attending the 25th Biennial Northern Wild Sheep & Goat Council Symposium, where leading researchers, wildlife managers, conservation organizations, and industry partners gather to discuss the latest science, management strategies, and conservation efforts impacting wild sheep and mountain goat populations across North America.
GSCO is proud to be part of these important conversations as we continue working to advance meaningful, boots-on-the-ground conservation initiatives for wild sheep and other mountain wildlife.

GSCO is proud to sponsor and participate in the 2026 WAFWA summer meeting in Boise Idaho. Developing relationships and identifying potential projects is integral to our boots-on-the-ground effort.

GSCO funded the Giroux Mine Pad guzzler in Nevada in 2013 and now, alongside Nevada Department of Wildlife and @nevadabighornsunlimited , GSCOnservation is funding its expansion to support a growing desert bighorn sheep population. This grand slam ram was taken on the 4th day of the 1964 hunt by Herman Lawrence, Texas. Also pictured; Bernie Lawrence (no relation) and Housholder which reported hunting an area in Mohave County which had not been hunted before, They saw five legal rams in 4 days. Herman Lawrence is Grand Slam #41
