🚨 TRAFFIC & PARKING ADVISORY — SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12 🚨
The Adams Police Department would like to remind residents and visitors that Saturday’s Adams Alert Hose Company 150th Anniversary Parade and Street Fair will result in multiple road closures, detours, and parking restrictions in the center of Adams.
📍 PARADE
The parade begins at 11:00 AM. Road closures and detours will begin at approximately 10:30 AM and will remain in effect until the parade concludes.
🚧 ROAD CLOSURES & DETOURS
During the parade, the following streets will be closed to traffic:
• Hoosac Street
• Park Street
• Center Street
• Summer Street
Additionally, Depot Street, East Maple Street, and Hoosac Street will have detours associated with the Street Fair. Motorists traveling north or south through the center of Adams should expect delays and will be directed around the downtown area.
🅿️ PARKING RESTRICTIONS
Parking will be prohibited on Summer Street, Center Street, and Park Street from midnight until 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 12.
⚠️ VISITOR CENTER PARKING LOT
The Visitor Center parking lot will NOT be available for parking during the Street Fair and no overnight parking in the lot.
Please plan ahead, allow extra travel time, follow posted detour signs, and use caution around pedestrians and parade participants.
