Oklahoma law enforcement officers from across the state strengthened their tactical skills during Advanced Law Enforcement Tactics (ALET) training Sept. 9–10 at the CLEET campus in Ada.

Led by CLEET Lead Fi****ms and Tactics Instructor Clay Anderson, with support from CLEET’s full-time and adjunct instructors, the course covered tactical movement, Search and Arrest Team procedures, and Crisis Entry Team procedures, helping prepare officers to better protect communities across Oklahoma.

Kevin McCullough dropped by the Marshall County Fairgrounds to support the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office Reserve Deputy program. Deputies were selling pulled pork sandwiches and Kevin gave the food a big yummy thumbs up.

Stronger through science.

Pictured, CLEET Basic Academy cadets complete physical assessments conducted by the OSU Tactical Fitness and Nutrition, led by Dr. Jay Dawes.

CLEET’s growing partnership with the lab now spans multiple academy classes. Through continued assessments and data collection, OSU researchers are helping us better understand the physical demands placed on cadets and identify science-backed ways to support their fitness, wellness and readiness.

By combining research with real-world training, we are working to strengthen the academy experience and better prepare Oklahoma’s future law enforcement officers.
