A Saturday meant for the International Day of Charity!

Today, the world recognizes the power of charity, the simple act of people coming together to help others and strengthen their communities.

But here in our communities, we've been doing that for 80 years. In 2027, we'll celebrate 80 YEARS of service. That's A LOT of charity through the years.

The spirit of a community chest transforming into a United front, showcasing that United is the WAY!

So today, on International Day of Charity, we're asking:
Who will help us carry that spirit into the next 80 years?

SOS: a disabled senior citizen in need!
Mrs. Morris called our office desperate. She tried posting on a FB group in hopes someone would help. Her power scooter is her livelihood, as it is her only form of transportation. She states it's flashing 4 lights, and when she looked it up, 4 flashes: There is a bad connection on the right motor. Check the right motor connections and wiring harnesses.

She says she's not understanding the owner's manual. She's not tech or mechanical savvy either. There's no one to help her, and she's panicking. It could be something easy, or it could require some fixing. Can anyone help her?

Her phone # is listed in the post. We have her address and the model number of the Jazzy chair. Please DM us for that information. She's only had it for a year and a half.

In 2027, Ada Regional United Way will celebrate 80 YEARS of serving our community! 😲

Our story began in 1947 as the Ada Community Chest, when local people came together because they believed that when a neighbor needed help, the community should come together.

80 years later, we're carrying that same spirit forward.

So we're starting our 80th anniversary celebration with a challenge:
