Did you know we also consult for lawns, gardens, and landscapes as well??

OSU Extension have Horticulture Specialists in Stillwater that also research the best lawn grass varieties for Oklahoma, diagnose sick plants, identify insects in the garden, and make recommendations on best gardening practices!

We have soil testing services as well to help your garden and lawn get the nutrients they need to thrive!

OSU Extension offices can also bring that education to Oklahoma counties! Do you have a w**d in your lawn that won't go away, or maybe a bald patch that won't fill in with grass? Are your tomatoes not setting fruit or have the squash bugs invaded the garden?

Stop by and talk to your OSU Extension office!

Today's Program Highlight: 4-H Youth Development

4-H is the largest youth development organization in the United States, boasting nearly 6 million members. Globally, it is recognized as one of the world's largest, with programs reaching 7 million young people in over 70 countries. It is run through a partnership with the USDA, land grant universities, and local Extension offices. In 4 H, we believe in the power of young people. We see that every child has valuable strengths and real influence to improve the world around us. Oklahoma 4-H officially began in 1909 when W.D. Bentley enrolled 50 boys into a corn club in Johnston County. Youth from all seventy-seven Oklahoma counties are involved in 4-H programs, whether in traditional 4-H clubs, school enrichment programs, or 4-H outreach. The continued success of 4-H in Oklahoma can be attributed to its dedication to young people, allowing them to look for opportunities that interest them in their own place and time, whether it be in science, computer technology, crafts, entomology, cooking, agriculture, education, animal science, writing, horticulture, leadership or community service.
