On behalf of the City of Ada, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Bill Anoatubby for his decades of transformative leadership, vision, and dedicated service to the Chickasaw Nation. His impact on our communities and region is immeasurable, and his legacy will be felt for generations to come. We wish him all the best in his well-earned retirement.

We are six months into 2026, and there is tremendous momentum throughout Ada. Construction is underway on the new 65,000-square-foot Multi-Purpose Sports Facility, and dredging of Wintersmith Lake is scheduled to begin shortly after the Fourth of July. Additional improvements at Wintersmith Park are also on the horizon, including the restoration of the historic amphitheater.

Enhancements have already been completed at Glenwood Park, while our Public Works crews continue making important improvements to streets and infrastructure across the city. Residents and visitors are also enjoying Ada’s many amenities, including our aquatic centers, splash pads, softball at the Sports Complex, the Irving Community Center, the Ada Public Library, and much more.

Ada continues to move forward, investing in projects and places that enhance quality of life for everyone. Because when Ada is in Motion, we all AIM Ahead Together!
